Welcome to podcasting for solopreneurs and FAQ Friday, where I answer a podcasting question in five minutes or less. Today's question is, can you preschedule podcast episodes? This question comes from a participant in my last podcasting one zero one workshop. Scheduling your episodes is done through your podcast hosting platform. Buzzsprout is my favorite one, and you can save $20 on your new account by using my link at the podcastteacher.com/buzzsprout. I mentioned that because each podcast hosting platform has different features and capabilities, and there might be a podcast hosting platform out there that does not allow you to preschedule. But Buzzsprout, Libsyn, Podbean, and others that I have used all do have this feature. So you simply load in your episode and you specify the date when you want it to go live. Most of them also allow you to specify a time too.

So this means you can work ahead of time and preschedule your episodes. Of course, if you are more of a last minute person, I have been there, there's also the publish now feature, so you can do it either way. And if you have a podcasting question, click the send me your question link in the episode description, and I'll answer it in an upcoming episode. Until next time, happy podcasting.
